Media Manual & Guidelines

The BCDA Media Team Manual outlines the official rules, safety requirements, and expectations for photographers and videographers covering Bold Connections Drift Alliance events.

All approved media personnel must read and understand these guidelines before attending any BCDA event. This manual ensures the safety of media members, drivers, staff, and spectators while maintaining professional standards across all BCDA media coverage.

By participating as media at BCDA events, you agree to comply with all policies outlined in this manual.

After reviewing the manual, please complete the Media Acknowledgement Form to confirm your agreement.

Bold Connections Drift Alliance (BCDA)


By signing, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to comply with the “BCDA Media Team Manual & Guidelines (Last Updated: August 2025)” in full. It is available to review upon request.

Media Access & Content Requirements

I understand that free media access is conditional. To maintain eligibility, I agree to deliver at minimum:

  • 5 edited photos

OR

  • 1–2 edited vertical reels (15–60 seconds)

Delivery Deadline: Within 7 days of the event

Delivery Method: Google Drive or Dropbox link sent to media.thebcda@gmail.com or as directed in the BCDA Media Group.

Failure to deliver required content on time or to BCDA standards may result in:

  • Loss of free media access
  • Denial of future credentials
  • Removal from the BCDA media program

Conduct, Safety & Compliance


I agree to:

  • Attend the mandatory media meeting
  • Follow all safety rules, staff instructions, and restricted-area policies
  • Wear required safety gear at all times
  • Conduct myself professionally and respectfully at all BCDA events

I understand that serious safety violations or egregious behavior may result in immediate removal and permanent ban, without warning.

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

I acknowledge that motorsport events are inherently dangerous and involve risks including, but not limited to, vehicle collisions, loss of control, debris, fire, weather conditions, and unpredictable participant or spectator actions.

I understand that restricted and trackside areas are designated danger zones, and that access to these areas is voluntary and entered at my own risk.

By participating as media, I voluntarily assume all risks of injury, death, or property damage, whether caused by my own actions, the actions of others, or conditions of the venue.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Bold Connections Drift Alliance (BCDA), event organizers, staff, volunteers, partners, sponsors, venue owners, and officials from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from my presence or participation as media at BCDA events.

Authority & Policy Changes

I acknowledge that Jordan Maynard has final authority on all media-related decisions, including disputes, access,
enforcement, and disciplinary actions.
I understand that this agreement and the BCDA Media Team Manual are subject to change at any time, and
continued participation as media constitutes acceptance of the most current version.

Acknowledgement

I recognize that BCDA assumes legal and insurance liability to allow media access, and that my actions directly
affect the safety, reputation, and future of BCDA events.

By signing , I agree to all terms outlined above and in the BCDA Media Team Manual.
